All fares can be paid by cash or via eftpos terminals which are installed in the vehicles. Visa Card, Mastercard, Diners card, Amex and cab charge are accepted but please note that major credit cards do attract a service fee of 10% and a GST charge on the service fee. This is a charge from the merchants and not received by Mercury Adelaide.

For domestic airport arrivals Mercury Adelaide allows a grace period up to 20 minutes after the flights actual arrival time for you to disembark and collect your luggage.

For international arrivals Mercury Adelaide allows a grace period of up to 30 minutes from your flights actual arrival time for you to disembark, collect luggage and clear customs.

Waiting time will be charged at $15.00 per 15 minutes or part thereof.

General transfers, Mercury Adelaide allows a 10 minute grace period after the booked time and waiting time will be charged at a rate of $15.00 per 15 minutes or part thereof.


All changes to bookings or cancellations must be made no later than 2 hours prior to the Cancellations made within 2 hours prior to the booked time will be charged the booking rate at management’s discretion.

All changes or cancellations for same day bookings must be made by phone or sms and confirmed by Mercury Adelaide so charges may be avoided.

No shows will also be charged at the booking price with an additional charge of 15 minutes.


Bookings for airport arrivals must provide a contact mobile phone number and a flight number.

Where a flight arrives prior to scheduled arrival time or after the scheduled arrival time, please ensure your phone is turned on in case our driver is attempting to contact you.

Whilst we make every endeavour to meet you upon your arrival, delays or early arrivals may mean that we are not there when you disembark. In this case our driver or office will contact you and advise you of their estimated time of arrival.


Mercury Adelaide will charge the party paying for the services for any damages and / or cleaning charges incurred by the passengers, including vomiting $100 spilt drinks/food $40.00. Upholstery damage $300 to $500 and the opening of a door into another car or stationary object $500 to $1000.


Mercury Adelaide at times may choose to use business partners to provide transport.


Whilst Mercury Adelaide will make every endeavour to be at your service at the booking time, we and our business partners cannot be responsible for circumstances out of our control. This includes but is not limited to road closures, traffic congestion, accidents,mechanical failure, delayed or early flights and weather. Please ensure we are able to contact you via mobile phone.
